“As a child I wanted to
be a hero like Super Man or Batman and change the world for the better but as I
grew up, I realized that physical force was not fun, there is always someone
else stronger than you. After all, I had not special physical capacities, I am
just human. I realized then that the only tool I had was an old guitar. It
really kept me busy and out of trouble. With it, I gave catechism to younger
children and sang happy Christian songs to lead them to church in my teenage
years. It was about 15 years between been an Altar boy and C.C.D teacher, until
I was called to join the seminary to get religious education and get ready to
serve as a priest, and that was my main reason to come to the U.S.A. to help
out the Catholic faith In 1986. I happily volunteered many years as music
minister for many churches in Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana. I Love the
Catholic Church, it has been my home sweet home always but they do not accept
married priests, so I stopped the seminary and possible priesthood. I never got
ordained, only went to the seminary three years during high school and three
years in College. Today, I have a daughter to live for, Alexandra,
which I am very proud of. I would not change my parenthood for no priesthood.
She is my gift from God and she is the happiness of my eyes. She is
just...perfect!
Today, I still enjoy teaching.
I am fully dedicated to Music, Music Teachers, Performers, Students,
Instruments, and Recordings in a professional level. Since I cannot be everywhere
to serve with my talent, then I realized that the best way to get my talent
used to every environment is by preparing artists, been a teacher and share my
knowledge with others who want to be on the stage. I am very satisfied the way
I have lived my life so far. If I had to do all over again with my life, I
would do the same thing. My way to fight crime and make this planet a better
place to live is through music, bringing joy to others, preparing professionals
with the type of music they want to perform and at the same time perhaps offer
them job opportunities.”
